Do you support our ERP and shop floor systems, and who owns what?
We support the IT around your ERP, CAD, and shipping software: the server, database, workstations, network, and backups it depends on. The application itself is supported by the software vendor. We keep the environment healthy and coordinate with them, and we do not resell the license.
Can you help with CMMC or NIST 800-171 for defense work?
On the IT side, yes. We implement and document the technical controls these frameworks call for, access controls, encryption, logging, and backups. The formal assessment and certification are a separate process, and we prepare your systems to support it.
How do you handle backups of our ERP data and drawings, and can you restore them?
We back up ERP data, drawings, and files on a schedule, encrypted and kept offsite, and we test the restore so recovery is proven, not assumed. Firms often lose data after ransomware because their backups were never test restored, only assumed to work.
We already have an IT provider, how hard is it to switch?
